We would like to firstly thank you all for your continued support and loyalty.

As many of you are aware, Australia is in the midst of a critical timber shortage due to a surge in demand during the COVID-19 pandemic on the back of devastating bushfires. The shortage is casing a sharp increase on timber prices.

Since Q1 of the 2021 calendar year, we’ve observed and largely absorbed (in the hopes of a correction in pricing) a 65% increase in the price of timber required to manufacture our products.

Whilst we have done everything in our power to absorb these increases, Scafeast  has no choice but to pass on the upcoming increase in price, effective from the 9^th August 2021 on timber plank products.

As a manufacturer and supplier who has been supporting the Australian construction industry for well over 10 years, we fully comprehend the enormous impact that any price increases have on your business, let alone an increase of this magnitude.

We would like to assure you that we will continue to put significant attention and effort into doing whatever we can to mitigate any further increases and intend on reducing pricing as soon as possible.

9^th August Price Increase Summary:

• Timber planks – 14% Increase
• Shade cloth – 10% Increase
• Mobile Scaffold Towers – 20% Increase
